Women's Health Advanced Practice Provider

At Platte River Medical Clinic we are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Practice team with a focus on women's aging health. This role centers on caring for women through key stages of life, including postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and menopause, helping patients optimize their health, wellness, and quality of life.

Job Title: Women's Health Advanced Practice Provider
Reports To: Clinic Manager and Medical Director

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provide comprehensive primary care with an emphasis on
  • Postpartum care and recovery
    • Hormonal health
    • Perimenopause and menopause management
    • Preventative care and wellness counseling
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
  • Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies
  • Develop individualized treatment and care plans
  • Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, hormone health, and aging-related changes
  • Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR
  • Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals.*
  • Performs routine medical procedures that may include suturing/laceration repair, splinting, foreign object removal, etc.*
  • Manages personal clinical inbox.*
  • Attends provider meetings as requested.*
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.*
Education and Experience:
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado
  • Board certification required
  • Experience in Family Practice, Women's Health, or Hormone Management preferred
  • Biote certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
  • Passion for preventive care and helping patients optimize long-term health
Certificates and Licenses:
  • State of Colorado Medical License
  • DEA certificate
  • BLS/CPR certificate
  • Biote Certification (Preferred)
