Spartronics Job Opportunity: Corporate Data Analyst
Reports to: Corporate IT Data Engineering Manager
Location- This position will work on-site at either our Williamsport, PA or Logan, UT manufacturing location.
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen only due to handling Defense related data.

The Data Analyst will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions that improve operational visibility, performance tracking, and decision-making across our electronics manufacturing operations. This role focuses on building Power BI reports and analytical tools that support diverse areas of the company including program management, quality, production, supply chain, finance, and more.
The Data Analyst will work closely with the data engineering team to access, model, and secure data through platforms such as Snowflake and Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business requirements. Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Reporting Development
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports for operational visibility.
- Create complex backend data models to support analysis across multiple functions.
- Iterate on report designs based on user feedback to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability.
Data Integration & Collaboration
- Partner directly with business users to understand required datasets and ensure appropriate governance for sensitive customer data.
- Collaborate with data engineering on Snowflake and other data environments to structure data for reporting needs.
- Validate data availability, completeness, and quality required for accurate decision-making.
Business Requirements & Cross-Functional Engagement
- Work with leaders and teams across all facets of the company to gather reporting requirements.
- Translate operational needs into scalable BI solutions and standardized metrics.
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting to maintain high adoption and usefulness, including training where needed.
Data Quality & Governance
- Monitor and validate data accuracy across reporting sources.
- Identify data gaps or inconsistencies and partner with process owners to address them.
- Maintain documentation for datasets, report logic, metric definitions, and access rules.
- Leverage Sharepoint to enable secure data discovery as a central point of user interaction.
Operational & Strategic Analytics Support
- Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and structured data insights for operational reviews, planning cycles, and performance assessments.
- Develop repeatable and automated reporting processes that reduce manual effort and standardize information across sites
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience building dashboards or operational reports (Power BI preferred). PowerPlatform (PowerAutomate, PowerApps) experience a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational or analytic databases. DAX, Python (Streamlit, Pandas), or Javascript experience a bonus.
- Experience with Salesforce and Sharepoint a bonus.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience modeling datasets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to defense-related data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with reporting or data analytics in a manufacturing environment (electronics manufacturing or EMS preferred).
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse technologies.
- Understanding of production, quality, and operational performance metrics.
- Experience with KPI standardization.

- Reduction of manual reporting effort and increased automation.

- Standardization of metrics and reporting across sites and departments.
- Timeliness and quality of data delivered for business and operational reviews.
Physical Requirements / Essential Functions
- Ability to work in an office and production floor environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of computer equipment (up to 25 lbs).
- Effective verbal and written communication and strong attention to detail in data review.
