This role sits at the critical intersection of product, security, and developer experience, shaping how secure systems are built and scaled in a modern platform environment. You will define and drive the security vision, balancing robust protection with seamless usability for developers and enterprise customers alike. Working closely with engineering, compliance, and cross-functional teams, you will influence how security features are designed, implemented, and adopted. The position offers the opportunity to tackle complex challenges related to identity, access control, and emerging AI-driven workflows. You’ll play a key role in enabling organizations to trust and scale their systems securely. This is a high-impact, strategic role in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment.
- Define and lead the platform’s security and trust roadmap, from foundational protections to advanced enterprise-grade controls
- Balance security requirements with developer experience, ensuring usability without compromising safety
- Drive the development of security features such as authentication, authorization, audit logging, and secrets management
- Establish and evolve unified access models, including roles, permissions, tokens, and identity integrations
- Lead security strategies for emerging technologies, including AI-driven agents and automated systems
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams to deliver cohesive, secure product experiences
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to translate security needs into actionable product strategies
- Oversee compliance initiatives and contribute to expanding regulatory readiness across industries
- Ensure high-quality documentation and guidance to support secure product adoption
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with strong exposure to security, infrastructure, or developer platforms
- Deep understanding of security fundamentals such as authentication, authorization (RBAC, RLS), audit logging, and secrets management
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering complex product features end-to-end
- Experience working in remote, asynchronous environments with strong written communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical and security concepts into clear, user-focused solutions
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, security, compliance, and business teams
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI, or similar is a plus
- Technical knowledge of databases, networking, or identity systems is advantageous
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI systems and automated agents
