Flight Test Engineer III at Ai Signal Research Inc – Huntsville, Alabama

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and (six) 6 years of experience performing engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft; and conducting basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture; or a Master's Degree in Engineering in the appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and (four) 4 years of applicable experience; or a PhD in Engineering in the appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university, and two (2) years of applicable experience.

Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Duties: Candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, real-time safety-of-flight and data quality monitoring, data analysis, and reporting for developmental and/or operational tests of system integrations on various aviation weapon system platforms as well as contributing to and documenting flight operations and flight test developments. Additional duties include test project management for schedule and cost considerations.
