This role is focused on driving business growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective clients across a variety of industrial and life sciences markets. The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to build a strong pipeline, conduct market research, and deliver tailored outreach to multiple stakeholders. You will leverage your communication and negotiation skills to understand customer needs and present appropriate protective clothing solutions. This position is remote with occasional travel, offering an opportunity to contribute directly to revenue growth while developing expertise in chemical protection garments and related industries. Success in this role requires a proactive, independent approach and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Drive pipeline growth through targeted outbound outreach via phone, email, social media, and other channels
- Identify and qualify prospective clients, maintaining detailed records in Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to nurture leads and convert them into qualified opportunities
- Develop product knowledge and participate in sales planning, regional meetings, and process improvement initiatives
- Achieve or exceed targets for qualified appointments, forecasted deals, and revenue contribution
- Maintain strong relationships with prospective and current customers while providing timely updates and feedback on market needs
- Support sales initiatives by creating and delivering virtual and in-person presentations
- 3+ years of experience in a sales development or similar sales role
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and focus on driving top-line growth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Ability to plan, organize, and multi-task, with strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, and Power BI is a plus
- Technical knowledge of chemical protective clothing or related product lines is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% as required
