About the Role:

The Part Time Shuttle Driver 5A-9A plays a critical role in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation services during early morning hours. This position is responsible for operating shuttle vehicles to transport passengers between designated locations, maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety. The driver will contribute to the smooth operation of transportation schedules, helping to meet the needs of commuters and clients who rely on early morning transit. Attention to detail and adherence to traffic laws and company policies are essential to minimize risks and provide a reliable service. Ultimately, this role supports the organization's commitment to dependable and courteous transportation solutions during the specified shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Ability to work early morning hours consistently from 5 AM to 9 AM.
• Basic knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a shuttle or bus driver.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with GPS and route navigation technology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently between assigned locations from 5 AM to 9 AM.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the shuttle, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the shuttle is in good working condition.
• Adhere strictly to scheduled routes and times, communicating any delays or issues promptly to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the shuttle vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to all passengers.
