Cardiovascular Technician Position Summary

The primary function of a Cardiovascular Tech is to assist with care of patients undergoing diagnostic and/or interventional cardiology procedures.

Cardiovascular Technician Position Requirements

Licensure as a Registered Radiology Technologist in the State of Maryland. Graduate of an approved school of radiology. Prefer one-year experience in cardiovascular non-invasive and invasive procedures. ACLS certification within 18 months of hire. Must maintain BLS and ACLS competency every two years.

Cardiovascular Technician Schedule

Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record. Work schedule as required for daily operation of lab. On call rotation. Rotational coverage of holidays; both scheduled to work and on-call duties. Expected to work overtime and/or additional weekends in times of staffing shortages and emergencies. Expected to respond in the event of a disaster.

Cardiovascular Technician Benefits

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
