Sleep Navigator at White River Medical Center (Health System) – Batesville, Arkansas

Job Summary:

The Sleep Navigator will be responsible for direct communication with primary care physicians in regard to patient STOP BANG assessment scores. They will be responsible for processing patient referrals via the Central Referral Management System. They will handle incoming referrals, organize information and facilitate the collection of missing information, obtain authorizations as needed, coordinate scheduling with individual socialities, call pending patients and monitor the status of referrals. This position involves direct contact with physicians and clinic staff via telephone as well as providing support and assistance in obtaining the medical, demographic information, as well as completing the pre-authorization process.

Job Knowledge:

Should have basic knowledge of computers. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be organized and manage multiple priorities. Must have strong customer orientation; excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Strong team player and commitment to organizational values. Must be flexible if needed to work variable hours.
