Associate CMIO in Fort Wayne, Indiana at Parkview Health

Must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school. Additional formal training in clinical informatics data science/analytic fields or Masters degree preferred. Current active unrestricted license to practice medicine in Indiana and/or Ohio or ability to obtain license prior to starting in the role. Board Certified Physician. Board Certified in Medical Informatics. Certification in at least one Epic application or Physician Builder equivalent. 4 years experience in the healthcare field including 3 years as a practicing physician plus 1 year of Medical Informatics. Strong understanding of clinical workflow in inpatient emergency outpatient and virtual settings. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams in a highly matrixed collaborate relationship-driven environment. Demonstrable knowledge of current state of healthcare and emerging best practices. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences translate information technology for clinical teams and clinical feedback to information technology team.
