About This Position
Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Real Estate Leasing Agent to join our team in representing our portfolio of properties in North Carolina and South Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in maximizing occupancy and revenue through tenant retention and strategic leasing efforts.
This position will be based in Charlotte, NC.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Leasing Activities:
- Sources potential leasing opportunities within specified markets
- Participates in community affairs and events to promote the Greenleaf brand
- Qualify potential tenants by reviewing financials and references
- Conduct prospective tenant tours of available commercial spaces
- Prepare and present lease proposals tailored to tenant needs
- Assist with lease agreement execution and ensure all documents are complete and compliant
- Tenant Retention:
- Foster positive relationships with tenants to ensure their continued satisfaction
- Monitors lease expirations and summarizes portfolio key dates and milestones
- Proactively identify and contact tenants nearing lease expiration
- Conduct lease renewal negotiations, offering competitive incentives
- Manage the lease renewal/amendment process from initial contact to final execution
- Administrative Duties:
- Markets property availability through proper channels such as Loopnet and Co-Star
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease records in our property management software
- Prepare marketing materials and conduct outreach to attract new tenants
- Generate reports on leasing activity and occupancy rates
- Assist the property management team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing or a related field
- Real estate license in North Carolina and South Carolina
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating lease renewals
- Property Management software (Yardi) experience a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
