Job SummaryWe are looking for a research coordinator to recruit patients from primary care clinics in Lexington, Kentucky. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a vehicle. The research coordinator will be responsible for recruiting potential participants, explaining the study in detail, acquiring their signatures on the consent form, and collecting biospecimens (blood and oral samples), scheduling and overseeing all clinical exams and handling all participant reimbursement. They will be responsible for collecting and entering patient data, as well as maintaining communication with Dr. Kuhs and her team on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will work well independently, possess excellent communication skills, and function as a liaison for the University of Kentucky and the primary care clinics. Training and equipment will be provided.
