About the role
DroneShield is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its team in the Sydney CBD headquarters. We are looking for applicants with extensive experience in rapid scaling of engineering and operations teams. The role will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations
- Liaise with relevant DroneShield hiring managers in setting out position requirements
- Maintain DroneShield’s presence and conducting candidate searches through various platforms such as Linkedin, Indeed, Seek and other platforms
- Conducting initial candidate screening and supporting DroneShield hiring managers through the remainder of the hiring processes
- Maintaining order in ATS
- Conducting reference checks
- We are a global business. Stakeholders are located in different time zones (including our Virginia office). There is a requirement to occasionally work outside of normal business hours
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Relevant bachelor or postgraduate degree
- Extensive previous experience in rapidly scaling engineering and operations teams
- Defence experience favourably considered, but not a must have
- Technically minded with the ability to grasp engineering role requirements
- In-house recruitment experience is preferred, however agency-only experience will also be considered
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to operate in a small agile team
- Attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Only candidates currently located in Australia or New Zealand will be considered
