About This Position
As part of the Department of Professional Practice, the Nurse Residency Coordinator will actively engage in the entire orientation and onboarding process of new Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses during their first year. This includes developing, coordinating, managing, facilitating, conducting, and evaluating onboarding and orientation programs for the new Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in program
- 5+ years nursing experience in an acute care setting
- 3+ years in clinical education preferred; will consider experience as a preceptor
- Current NYS Nursing license BLS required; ACLS preferred
