Who you are...

• You have a minimum of one year of experience in a retail or fitness center customer service position, ideally you have supervisory or lead level experience
• You have a current membership in a fitness center, or have a strong knowledge of fitness center operations; fitness industry and resort and/or high-end club related service experience strongly preferred
• You have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• You have excellent communication skills, a customer service focus and strong interpersonal abilities
• You exhibit effective conflict resolution, problem solving, decision-making and time management skills
• You are energetic, inspiring and adventurous and present a professional appearance and pleasant, positive demeanor and attitude
• You work well independently, and in a task-oriented, team environment, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
• You are computer proficient and have experience performing sales transactions
• You are available to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays and extended hours as business needs dictate
• You have a high school diploma or equivalency degree
• You love to have fun while you’re at work!

What you’ll do...

• Supervise the fitness center front desk operations during your assigned shift to a consistently high standard
• Delegate daily tasks, and monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of fitness front desk team members, with an emphasis on training and teamwork
• Act as the hub of information for all things Tetherow Fitness/Sport related
• Be a direct contact for the fitness front desk team, addressing scheduling challenges and filling open shifts
• Register members and guests in a friendly, professional, and expedient manner and perform point-of-sale transactions
• Provide amenities and maintain the facility, including locker rooms, pool deck, and front desk
• Perform regular facility checks for cleanliness and safety and enforce all rules and regulations of pool areas
• Assist Tetherow Sport management with scheduling and other operational tasks, as needed
• Communicate clearly and develop strong working relationships with all team members, contributing to a positive and cohesive working environment and positive morale
• Handle complaints and problems in a professional manner to ensure a successful outcome
• Assist in the recruit and training of new team members
