• Position: Purchasing Specialist
• Location: Nashua, NH (On-Site)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary: The Purchasing Specialist takes an active role in sourcing, ordering, and maintaining inventory to keep distribution operations running smoothly. This position works closely with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure materials and products are available, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.

Essential Functions:

• Research, source, price and purchase goods for distribution
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company objectives and enhance supply chain efficiency
• Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiating contracts, and purchase order management
• Oversee supplier management by utilizing systems to forecast inventory needs

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• Bachelor or Associate Degree preferred, High School Degree required
• Proven experience in procurement
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Works well autonomously and as part of a team
