Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, as well as resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Apply appropriate Project Management methodologies and practices to enhance project management efficiency and adaptability.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, architects, and business analysts, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting effective communication, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project management staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management, Agile methodologies, and IT infrastructure, cloud, and application management.

Education:

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

PMP certification is preferred

Relevant Work Experience:

3 to 9 years in related field

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Extensive experience in managing infrastructure, cloud, and application projects is essential.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite) for project planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Solid understanding of IT industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Candidates are expected to work EST hours.
