Forklift Operator/Yard Jockey (High Reach Truck) at Freight Breakers LLC – Richburg, South Carolina

We are looking for experienced high-reach forklift drivers/yard jockeys to join our team in Richburg, SC!

Overview:

This position will be moving orange racks to and from the loading dock. This will include counting and verifying the SKUs and quantities of tires. You will also be asked to remove the poles from those orange racks. This is in a face pace environment with pedestrians loading the tires by hand so driving safely is of the up most importance as well as your overall skill on the lift. In your role as a yard jockey, it will only take up 1-2 hours of your day, the remainder time will be spent in your material handler role. We are a smaller team so when people call out, will all get assigned other tasks to help accomplish the goal for the day. Sometimes drivers are asked to load tires onto the conveyor belts, leads/supervisors have been asked to load tires into trailers. We all help out as needed.

In order to be considered for employment, you must pass an in person driving test. You will be observed for your safety awareness, comfortability on the lift/truck, as well as your efficiency/speed. Only apply to this position if you have experience using a high-reach stand-up forklift and yard jockey experience.

Pay:

· $21.00 per hour - $24.00 per hour

Requirements

· Has steel toe/composite toe shoes

· Has reliable transportation

· Reliable attendance

· Repetitive lifting up to 50lbs without limitation.

Experience:

· At least 1 year of previous reach truck experience (required)

· At least 1 year of yard jockey experience (required)

· 1-2 years of experience in a shipping and receiving environment

Schedule:

· M-F (7am-3:30pm)
