About This Position
Basic Function
Manipulate boards from conveyors to carts to create lumber packages in various stages of production.
Responsibilities
1. Safely move boards from conveyors to carts.
2. Create lumber packages according to operating specifications.
3. Secure lumber using various types of banding as needed.
4. Push carts (when filled and empty) to locations for fork truck pick up.
5. Record package details on both paper forms and computer.
6. Clean area when other lumber duties are absent.
7. Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Completion of Pike training course

Physical Requirements
1. Be able to climb, squat, stoop and twist while maneuvering lumber
2. Be able to repetitively lift, push and pull 10-80 pounds.
3. Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
