Lake Regional Camdenton Express Care Clinic is looking for an outgoing, professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. Our fast-paced Express Care Clinic is dedicated to serving our community by providing same-day care for a wide range of needs from coughs, colds to minor injuries such as fractures. We are looking for a well-rounded, confident individual who enjoys variety, and is passionate about delivery high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to exam room and documents chief complaints
• Documents patient care in the electronic medical record
• Assists physician and/or nurse practitioner by providing assessment, treatment, testing, and education for the patients in the practice
• Greets patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion
• Responds in a timely manner and keeps patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations
• Assists physician/nurse practitioner with in-clinic procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
• Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing Program — New Grads Welcome!
• Missouri LPN License required
• Prefer previous medical office experience but not required

MA Qualifications:

Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program or has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting for at least 3–5 years.

You will be required to test for credentials within 90 days from the hire date using one of the approved credentialing bodies:

• National Healthcareer Association (NHA) / Website: www.nhanow.com
• National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)/ Website: www.nahpusa.com

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) / Certified Clinic Medical Assistant (CCMA) credentials desired
