Community Well-being- VeggieRX Summer Non-Clinical Intern at Parkview Health – Fort Wayne, Indiana

The VeggieRx intern will: 1. Work with the VeggieRx team during the program implementation following established processes; 2. Assist with the program's educational sessions such as set up, tearing down, and participant data collection. 3. Collaborate with team members during meetings and off-site events, 4. Support the Food Assistance & Support team with providing project management and data collection. This internship will review and revise VeggieRx program materials and assist with development of standardized forms and processes.

We are looking for an upperclassman college student with experience with databases, Excel, project management software, customer service skills, comfort with interacting with community members in person and over the phone, familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy. GPA of 3.0 or above.

The working hours are Monday-Friday and 40 hours per week. This will traditionally be first shift schedule (8:00-4:30), with some evening and weekend commitments through the summer.

The degree programs that would best fit this position include Public Health, Health Informatics, Translational Science, Community Health and Wellbeing. Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. A specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the host department of internship. A specific license and/or certification may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship. GPA of 3.0 or above. Submission of Cover Letter, Resume and Letter of Recommendation.
