• Make an Impact: Share your knowledge of the local scenery, wildlife, culture, and history while creating unforgettable guest experiences.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guest safety during tours.
• Share stories, songs, and insights about Tlingit culture and the unique features of the area.
• Welcome guests as a greeter and assist with orientations.
• Support other excursions and activities as needed.

• Passion for Alaska: Knowledge of marine life, plants, animals, and birds—or a willingness to learn.
• Safety Focus: Strong commitment to ensuring safety during every tour.
• Great Communicator: Excellent verbal skills, patience, and the ability to lead groups of all ages.
• Cultural Connection: Willingness to learn a Tlingit Introduction, songs, and stories related to the tours.
• Team Player: Flexibility to assist with a variety of programs and duties as needed.

• Able to lift 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and walk/paddle 5+ miles daily.
• Willing to live in a remote, rural community.
• Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote setting.
• Able to navigate gravel roads and work in varying weather conditions.
