Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.

• Fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology.

• Current unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.

• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

• Credentialing and privileging approval by VA Medical Executive Board.

• Proficiency in English for clinical care and medical documentation.

Duties:

• Provide outpatient and surgical services for veterans with head and neck cancers.

• Perform complex oncologic surgeries, including thyroid, salivary gland, laryngeal, skull base, and free flap reconstructive procedures.

• Manage cases of benign and malignant tumors of the oral cavity, pharynx, and neck.

• Perform laryngectomies, tracheostomies, esophageal dilations, and reconstructive procedures.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

• Maintain documentation in VA’s electronic health records and ensure compliance with patient privacy regulations.

• Uphold standards of care consistent with the Joint Commission and VA policies.
