Job Title: Powder Coater / Sprayer

Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Department: Production/Paint Department

Reports To: Spray Department Supervisor

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00

The approximate pay range for this position is $18.00- $23.00 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities

Position Summary: Powder coater on an automated state-of-the-art GEMA continuous track line in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to interpret drawings and scan them accurately and reliably. Longer term will be involved in maintenance of the line.

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of spraying experience.
• Strong desire to learn on the job
• Ability to read blueprints and understand assembly drawings and bill of materials
• Must have basic English language proficiency to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
• Deadline-driven and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Able to read a tape measure and operate simple power and manual hand tools.
• Reliable, good work ethic, and high integrity.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Be able to perform all positions on the line including hanging/unhanging parts, masking, part dry off, spraying, packing.
• Learn to operate and maintain the paint line
• Aid in the movement of component parts / materials to the production area, and of finished parts to next operation.
• Read blueprints and bill of materials to ensure proper parts are being produced.
• Scan into and out of work orders correctly and record accurate count of welded assemblies.
• Aid in other departments as needed by supervisor.
