General Handyman at Luxury Brand Holdings – Cranston, Rhode Island

We are looking for an individual skilled in basic maintenance including but not limited to basic plumbing repair, painting, appliance troubleshooting and basic repair, and general maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Ability to complete work orders and preventative maintenance assigned including, but not limited to, Electrical troubleshooting, Carpentry repair, Plumbing troubleshooting, and HVAC.

· Use of power and hand tools to complete repairs

· Making repairs to existing structures and exhibits.

· Working independently and in team settings.

· Ability to communicate in a professional manner to LBH guests and employees.

· Working outside in changing weather conditions.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8 am – 5 pm (weekends optional)

Nice-to-Haves

· Experience in drywall installation and painting

· Plumbing knowledge and experience

· Electrical knowledge and experience

Requirements

• 3 years of experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess basic proficiency in at least three (3) of the following services; carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, sheetrock, drywall finishing, and managing maintenance repairs.
• Able to perform physical exertion including: carrying, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, hauling, and lifting as much as 100 pounds
• Maintain company and OSHA safety requirements
• Obtain/maintain current First Aid/CPR certification
