About This Position

The Tampa Bay Rowdies are looking for an experienced handyman that is well rounded in several areas of trade: Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and general repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of maintenance related work.
  • Repair leaking sinks and faucets, unclog drains and replace fixtures
  • Perform small painting projects, handrails, walkways and walls
  • Ability to patch drywall, lay carpet/tile and base
  • Construct and frame out small walls/partitions
  • Willing to help lay flooring, set up tables and chairs for home games
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of maintenance experience
  • Ability to handle plumbing tools, carpentry saws and equipment
  • Be able to trouble shoot problems with solutions
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
  • Ability to communicate, establish and maintain an effective working relationship
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Previous experience operating mobile equipment (e.g. forklift) preferred, but not required.
  • Must be prepared to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime
