Job Description

Essential Responsibilities and Abilities

Project Coordinator responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below.

  • Prepares and Distribute Project Submittals.
  • Prepare Subcontracts and Purchase Agreements for the Project.
  • Maintain and Distribute Plan Drawings and Revisions
  • Initialize and maintain required Project Logs. (RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals, etc.)
  • Assist in the Preparation of Work Plans for Upcoming Scopes of Work.
  • Obtains required Permits for Job Site Activity.
  • Setup of Utilities, Services and Water Meters
  • Tracking quantities to ensure accurate payment by Owner.
  • Track project expenses and records them in Heavy Job/Viewpoint on a weekly basis.
  • Maintains strict adherence to Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform Safety Inspections Weekly and assist Project Teams in preparing and maintaining Safety Meeting Documents.
  • Maintain Daily Production Quantities for cost analysis.
  • Reviewing budgets and adjust job costing.
  • Managing change order correspondence and tracking
  • Assists and Ensures timely and accurate Project close outs
  • Assist with Scheduling
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as directed.

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent combinations of technical training, and/or related experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of construction experience required (including internships, preferably heavy civil experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicates effectively at all levels of the organization, and lead through influence – with the purpose of driving change and delivering positive outcomes.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to project management teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Pass criminal and driving background checks
  • Valid Driver License
