Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at JUVA SKIN AG. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting our medical staff in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care possible. You will work closely with our medical team to provide support in areas such as vital signs, phlebotomy, and patient care. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Location: Manhattan with occasional travel to our Queens office
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and draw blood
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with electronic medical records
- Experience working in a dermatology or cosmetic surgery practice
- Experience working with patients in a customer service setting
Responsibilities:
- Assist medical staff with patient care, including taking vital signs and drawing blood
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure that all patients receive the highest quality care possible
- Assist with clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and other medical procedures
- Work closely with our medical team to ensure that all patients receive the care they need
Skills:
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will use your skills in medical assisting, vital signs, phlebotomy, patient care, and medical terminology on a daily basis. You will work closely with our medical team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure that all patients receive the highest quality care possible. Additionally, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and their families, as well as with our medical staff. Your ability to take accurate vital signs and draw blood will be essential to your success in this role, as will your knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
