CONTROLLER at Mangia Inc – IRVINE, California

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of AP, Personnel, Audit, Financials, Budgets and P&L
• Develop and prepare all Corporate Financial reporting
• Oversee employee benefit packages
• Manage Payroll and tax reporting
• Interface with outside CPA for tax and reporting
• Manage HR/staffing to include vacations and office coverage
• Manage payables both domestic and foreign for optimal cash flow
• Ensure corporate and estimated taxes are paid and filed accordingly
• Coordinate cash management to meet company objectives working directly with CEO
• Manage budget planning and implementation.
• Maintain system controls and security
• Assist will collections and backup for Accounting/Office Manager
• Manage the renewal of all insurance policies including Workers Comp
• Manage banking relationships and foreign exchange
• Monthly reconciliation of Bank Statements
• Liaison with contracted service providers
• Develop systems and recommendations for improvement of Finance and Accounting Services
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance or equivalent
• Five years Food Manufacturing/Distribution with Inventory/cost accounting environment
• Team Leader skills
• Strong Open Communication Skills
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Understand and commit to the team environment
