Image Keeper (Facilities Support) - 1st Shift in Grand Rapids, Michigan at Butterball Farms, Inc.

Overview

The Image Keeper (Facilities Support) plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented environment across Butterball Farms’ office, production, and common areas. In addition to standard custodial responsibilities, this role supports facility operations through waste management, equipment operation (hi-lo), and general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of offices, production areas, maintenance shop, restrooms, breakroom, basement and common spaces.

• Support meeting setup and event preparation.

• Remove and manage waste, including operating compactor.

• Operate hi-lo (forklift) safely and perform inspections.

• Maintain exterior grounds including snow removal and salting.

• Perform minor maintenance and monitor supplies.

• Supports waste management and facility operations.

• Handles exterior and seasonal work.

• Plastic Scrap Removal from basement and scrap room.

Work Environment

• Work in office and production areas.
• Use of PPE and cleaning chemicals required.
• Exposure to temperature changes and noise.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial/janitorial experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous hi-lo experience required (certification preferred).
• Experience with waste systems (compactors) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus.

Education & Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications.
