Human Resources Manager in Richmond, Virginia at Riverside Logistics

The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all human resource functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, compliance, and organizational development. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and manages all HR-related initiatives across the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• PHR, or SHRM - CR Certification
• 7+ years managing HR programs in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven experience managing employee relations and compliance matters.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems.
