Project Analyst

Position Summary

This position is responsible for analyzing project plans, supporting project execution, managing financials, delivering data reporting, and leading process improvements and special projects to ensure alignment with business, product, and organizational goals. The role acts as a bridge between project teams, senior leadership, finance, and clients, facilitating decision-making, tracking progress, optimizing processes, and providing actionable insights through reporting. Key Responsibilities

Project Analysis and Proposal

  • Provide Project management and administrative support for internal and select external projects.
  • Review project plans and identify solutions to meet business and product needs.
  • Scan business environment for issues, risks, or opportunities.
  • Research solutions and design projects to address identified problems.
  • Brief management regularly on progression of projects, risks, and priorities.

Financial Support & Oversight

  • Assist in developing project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Analyze cost-benefit and financial performance of projects and programs.
  • Provide reporting and recommendations to optimize financial resources and ROI.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs.

Data Reporting & Analysis

  • Collect, compile, and analyze project and program data.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status, financial, and performance metrics.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and programs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support decision-making and process improvements.

Process Improvements & Special Projects

  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows, project processes, and organizational procedures.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce risks, and enhance quality.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects that address strategic priorities or organizational needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute improvement initiatives effectively.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, project analysis, program management, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project, and Access.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, or cost tracking is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail in financial, operational, and performance metrics.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and support strategic initiatives.
  • Some firm business-related travel.

Performance Expectations (KPIs)

  • Project Delivery: > 95% of assigned deliverables completed on schedule.
  • Administrative Accuracy: 98% first-pass acceptance of documentation and data.
  • Budget Reporting: 100% on-time submission of monthly budget and financial reports.
  • Customer Support: Resolution of issues within three (3) business days.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Timely handoffs and consistent management updates.
  • Compliance: All certifications, licenses, and registration maintained at 100% compliance
  • Proposals & Reporting: 100% On-time submission of RFP responses and project status reports.
