Barista at Ember Custom Event Planning & Catering LLC – Buffalo, New York

Café 257 is seeking professional, hospitality-driven Baristas to join our opening team inside Genesee Towers in downtown Buffalo.

We are building a café experience centered on quality, efficiency, and consistency — serving office professionals in a polished, fast-paced environment. We are looking for team members who take pride in craft, presentation, and guest experience.

Position Overview
The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized café environment, and delivering professional, friendly service to building tenants and guests.

This is a morning-focused position in a structured, professional setting.

Responsibilities
-Prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages to established standards
-Operate commercial brewing equipment properly and safely
-Maintain beverage consistency, speed, and presentation standards
-Greet guests in a warm, professional manner
-Maintain cleanliness of bar, equipment, and service areas
-Restock and prep syrups, milks, and grab-and-go items
-Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
-Work collaboratively with the café and kitchen team
-Assist with light opening and closing duties

Qualifications
-Previous barista or café experience preferred
-Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and consistency
-Professional demeanor and appearance
-Ability to work early morning shifts
-Reliable transportation
-Food safety certification a plus
