Press Brake Operator – Southern CaseArts

Retention Bonus Opportunity
New Press Brake Operators hired after April 24 are eligible for the following one-time retention incentives:
- $500 after 90 days of employment$500 after 6 months of employment$1,000 after 1 year of employment
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal partsWork from blueprints and job specifications to produce quality partsInspect parts and perform quality checks throughout productionMake machine adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiencyIdentify and report any defects or material issuesLoad materials and assist with material handling (forklift experience is a plus)Use our system to track completed jobs and apply labelsMaintain a clean and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or equipmentWillingness to learn and take direction in a hands-on environmentAbility to read blueprints or a desire to learnStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience operating press brakes or similar machineryBackground in manufacturing, fabrication, or sheet metal workExperience using measuring tools (tape measures, micrometers, protractors)Forklift experienceExperience with ERP systems (NAV or similar)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GEDAbility to work 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with overtime as neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftComfortable working on concrete floors in a manufacturing environmentAbility to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive movementsGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
