About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY
In this role, you will meet with customers for pre-scheduled appointments to maintain and/or upgrade systems, follow up on warranty issues, and recommend additional needed solutions to the customer.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service and Sales
- Examine work completed by our company and determine if there is a potential problem to be remedied
- Recommends additional products and services to enhance or improve the original installation or remedy a new issue that has arisen in the customer’s home
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers until all concerns are resolved
- Promptly completes all paperwork and follow-up communications required for the appointment
- Meets or exceeds projected monthly performance goals, Average Dollar Per Stop (ADS)
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to job specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines during every product installation, maintaining the highest level of attention to detail
- Reports any product or installation-related issues promptly to the General Manager
- Training & Development
- Attend weekly service meetings
- Engage in ride-along with the Sales Manager and peers, gaining valuable insights and best practices to improve performance and enhance customer interactions
- Consistently practice and adhere to the appointment process
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in construction trades, sales, customer service OR a combination of education and hands-on experience demonstrating a proven track record in these areas
- Ability to detect and interpret information from written materials or digital devices (such as computers or tablets)
- Ability to communicate effectively in person or over the phone
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly
- Ability to remain standing or upright for extended periods, up to 100% of the time, during tasks and interactions
- Ability to work from the floor level or within confined spaces such as crawl spaces
- Ability to work occasional emergency hours
- A valid driver’s license (or CDL) with a safe driving record
