Phlebotomy Coordinator at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

Under the supervision of laboratory leadership, the phlebotomy coordinator is responsible for the oversight of specimen collection, quality of specimens, staff scheduling and inventory management. This individual is also responsible for the oversight of the preanalytical team for the hospital and clinical laboratories. This individual acts as a resource and liaison for laboratory customers and keeps the department in a state of readiness for regulatory review.

Required:
High school plus specialized training
One to three years' experience

Preferred:
Phlebotomy certification
Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain at time of hire
