About This Position

Description:

Automotive Technician – KIA/Hyundai Specialist

Charlie's KIA is currently seeking a skilled, motivated Automotive Technician with experience in KIA and Hyundai vehicles to join our growing service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in their work and is looking to build a long-term career in a supportive, forward-thinking dealership environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining KIA and Hyundai vehicles in accordance with factory standards. You should be comfortable working with modern diagnostic tools and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on KIA and Hyundai vehicles
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership standards
  • Accurately document work performed and communicate findings with service advisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid State Inspection License (A & D)
  • Experience with KIA and/or Hyundai vehicles preferred
  • ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a plus, but not required
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. Some technical training.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

State Vehicle Inspector Certification

Valid Driver's License
