School Van Monitor ( Special Needs) at Well Boarding Transportation LLC – South Yarmouth, Massachusetts

Well Boarding Transportation is seeking a compassionate and reliable Van Monitor to support the safe transportation of students, including those with special needs. The monitor plays a critical role in ensuring student safety, comfort, and positive behavior while on board.

This is an ideal position for individuals who enjoy working with children and want a meaningful, part-time role aligned with the school schedule.

• Assist students safely entering and exiting the vehicle
• Ensure all students are properly secured (seat belts, car seats, harnesses if applicable)
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a calm, safe environment
• Provide support to students with special needs as required
• Communicate effectively with drivers, parents, and school staff
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Report any incidents or concerns promptly

• Experience working with children (preferred, not required)
• Patience, reliability, and strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
• Strong communication skills
• Must pass CORI/SORI background check
• First Aid/CPR certification (a plus, training may be provided)

• Monday–Friday
• Morning and afternoon shifts (split schedule)
• Follows school calendar (holidays and breaks off)
