Position Overview:

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a passion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide follow-up care and crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and completed residency in Psychiatry.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in [State or Region].
  • DEA license with authorization to prescribe psychiatric medications.
  • Experience with electronic medical records "AdvancedMD" (EMRs) preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
