Quality Intern at Hendrick Medical Center – Abilene, Texas

Under the direction of the Quality Patient Safety Division Directors, and/or other designated department supervisors, the Quality Intern is primarily concerned with querying data bases, as well as creating/producing management reports. Collects data, prepares statistical reports and other reports, and analyses to improve the services provided within the setting assigned. Maintains the strictest confidentiality of all.

Minimum Education

• Some college – associates or bachelors level program

• Strong computer skills essential including Microsoft Office and Database queries
• Numerical ability required for accurate arithmetic computations
• Ability to detect and avoid errors in computing figures
• Must be able to carry defined policies, procedures and duties under specific instructions.
• Must have ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Facilitates innovation as well as team building skills, creative thinking and problem solving skills.
