Freytag’s Florist is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist to provide exceptional in-store customer service and sales support. This role is the primary point of contact for walk-in customers and plays an important part in creating a welcoming and memorable shopping experience.

This position focuses on customer service and sales and does not involve floral design.

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Help customers select floral arrangements, plants, and gift items
• Provide product knowledge and thoughtful recommendations
• Process retail sales through the POS system and collect payment
• Wrap bouquets and floral products in an attractive presentation style
• Create small plant gardens or container plantings for customers
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom
• Merchandise plants and retail products
• Water plants and monitor showroom product quality
• Maintain awareness of available products in the showroom and cooler
• Assist with answering phones or order entry when needed
