Job Description:
Velora Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. As an RN, you will provide professional nursing care to clients in the comfort of their homes while promoting safety, independence, and overall well-being. The RN plays a key role in assessing client needs, developing care plans, and ensuring high-quality care is delivered in accordance with physician orders and company standards.

Responsibilities:

Conduct client assessments and develop individualized care plans

Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans

Monitor client health status and report any changes to physicians or appropriate healthcare professionals

Monitor and record vital signs and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Provide wound care, medication management, and other clinical services within scope of practice

Educate clients and family members on health conditions, medications, and care procedures

Supervise and support LPNs and caregivers when necessary

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective care

Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

Previous home healthcare or clinical experience preferred but not always required

Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Ability to follow care plans and physician instructions

Must be able to pass a background check

Must be able to pass a drug test

Reliable transportation preferred

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

CPR/First Aid certification
