Speedy Glass is now hiring for a Flat Glass Project Coordinator to join our team!

The primary focus of the Flat Glass Project Coordinator is at all times to be developing and maintaining good customer relations and communication. The Flat Glass Project Coordinator shall assist the Flat Glass Project Manager with coordinating different aspects of flat glass projects and deliverables. They shall confer with customers by telephone, email or in-person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders or relay inquiries, provide timely updates on projects, obtain details and manage any service issues that may arise.

The Flat Glass Project Coordinator will effectively communicate internally, track projects, and ensure that project documents are organized and complete.

Schedule: Full-time; M-F
Pay Range: $24 - $28/hour

Job Duties:

  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to customers regarding project order statuses and timelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of estimates, invoices, projects, pricing, price books, customer contact and ange orders.
  • Provide product information to potential and/or current customers in a timely manner.
  • Assist with project documentation and vendor relations as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Keep records of interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Monitor bidding sites for potential projects and solicit new clients.
  • Provide training for current and/or new employees.
  • Driving of company vehicle may be required.
  • Complies with all safety policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager and/or direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent (GED)
  • At least 2-4 years previous clerical and/or customer service experience, with experience in construction industry strongly preferred
  • Excellent driving record as well as a valid driver's license
  • Professional phone voice, demeanor and listening skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Superior customer relation skills
  • Demonstrated MS Office proficiency
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to use and learn computer-based inventory control systems
