Description:

**The right candidate will be on the Western half of the US in order to better access West Coast customers**

The Field Uptime Engineer is responsible for supporting the Service & Solutions department by providing problem resolution to complex technical issues including root cause analysis, diagnosis, and repair guidance to our distributors.

In addition, they provide warranty claim oversight and develop / deliver product training for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our products at the direction of the Field Service Sr Uptime Engineer.

· Provide technical support in a customer service focused manner until repair issue is fully resolved

· Updating and resolving BOTIS tickets timely and accurately

· Aids Production & PDI departments for critical needs (diagnosing)

· Through Fleet Intelligence, provides reports of field actions and resolutions

· Using BOTIS ticketing system And Fleet Intelligence reports, identify repetitive failure patterns, recommend, and manage field product improvements or campaigns

· Travel as required (up to 75%)

Requirements:

· High energy level

· Self-motivated

· Strong computer literacy

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

· Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions

· Technical aptitude

· Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

· Mental capacity to make sound decisions and to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

· Ability to multitask, solve problems, manage time, adapt to changing work conditions, and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Superior organizational skills, strong quality orientation, and high attention to detail

· Proven ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

· Knowledge of and adherence to occupational hazards and standard safety practices

· Strong ethical standards, reliability, professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Education and Experience

· Associate degree or equivalent preferred

· 5+ years of technical experience with construction equipment preferred

· SAP knowledge preferred
