Job Description
Jetaire Group is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Design Approval Holder (DAH) with Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) providing high-reliability electronic hardware and systems support where critical functions, durability, and peak performance are vital. JOB SUMMARY: As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing designs for various projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives
• Create detailed designs using SolidWorks/CAD software and other design tools
• Develop 2D and 3D models, drawings, and prototypes
• Conduct research and analysis to ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations
• Perform mechanical design calculations and simulations using FEA software
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports
QUALIFCATIONS:
• 3 years of experience as a Designer, Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices
• Proficient in SolidWorks/CAD software and other design tools - Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Experience with assembly processes and techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
