About This Position
Neuro- Psych Nurse Practioner
The Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) in the inpatient psychiatric setting provides comprehensive mental health care to patients experiencing acute psychiatric conditions. The APP works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and manage patients’ mental health needs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. The APP Assesses and plans for direct patient care and provides leadership within the unit in collaboration with supervising physician. Responsible and accountable for the care given to the patient and for the decisions regarding tasks delegated to licensed and non-licensed personnel. Responsible for adhering to all standards of patient care.
