About This Position

Position Summary:

The Sales Operations Associate provides administrative, operational, and customer-focused support to the sales team to help drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional service to prospects, clients, brokers, and partners. This role assists with preparing sales materials, Request for Proposal responses, prospect pipeline management and CRM updates, appointment scheduling and managing prospecting campaigns, and coordinating communication between sales, underwriting, and operations teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage proposal development and responses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM/HubSpot, including entries, updates, reporting and overall sales pipeline management
  • Coordinate and schedule external meetings, including calendar management and logistics
  • Complete meeting follow-up activities, includes notes, action items and next-step coordination
  • Provide on-site sales support at conferences and events as needed, including booth coverage and coordination, as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound TempoPay employer proposal requests, including pricing coordination and proposal creation; this role offers exposure to the external sales process with opportunities to grow toward client-facing presentations over time
  • Support TempoPay partnership initiatives and cross-functional projects
  • Assist with outbound prospecting efforts, including research, list preparation, and pipeline support, in alignment with overall sales priorities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about solving for the access to healthcare challenges that the U.S. population faces today
  • Knowledge of the group employee benefits marketplace (from carrier/TPA, brokers/consultants, or other manner)
  • Customer service: meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM tool
  • Proficient in creating presentations in PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills: listening and speaking effectively with customers in a professional manner. Organized to allow for efficient and effective follow-up
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Dependable
  • Desire to grow and take on a larger sales role in the future
  • Strong attention to detail

Education/Experience:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 2-3 years of work experience
  • Experience as an assistant analyst at a brokerage or consulting firm highly preferable
  • Experience in a sales support or proposal unit role with a health plan, employee benefits point solution, or a TPA is a plus
  • Experience with project management preferred
