Diesel Truck Technician - Milton, VT at Bellavance Trucking Inc – Milton, Vermont

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic, mechanical, or electrical repair on fleet assets.

• Understand, practice, and maintain proficiency in equipment diagnosis, regulatory compliance (inspections), and preventive maintenance.

• Road-test vehicles to ensure the quality of work and vehicle performance (if holding a valid CDL).

• Ability to handle on-call hours and service tasks.

• Tire mounting Knowledge.

• Able to interact with drivers, customers, vendors, and other employees professionally.

• Assume responsibility and ownership of any project assigned, including its clean-up or other non-mechanical tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Experience:

• High school diploma, vocational education degree, or equivalent.

• Mechanical repair experience

• Previous brake repair experience

• Ability to lift/lower 50 pounds

• Ability to work with others

• Willing to train if you have a desire to learn or similar experience.

Monday-Friday 8:00 - 5:00, occasional OT.

One week of on-call duties per month. (additional on-call compensation.)
