Surgical Physician Assistant SCMG - BONUS ELIGIBLE #8442 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at St. Clair Hospital

This position is accountable for providing medical care to patients as delegated by the physician in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting. The Surgical Physician Assistant will participate in all aspects of patient care and act as first assist in the operating room. This position may require night and/or weekend call.

1. Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program
2. Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania.
3. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
4. Prescriptive authority privileges.
5. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

1. Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree.
2. Previous experience as a physician assistant, working in a surgical practice that specializes in General Surgery.
