About This Position
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the Department of Neurology, is currently accepting applications for a full-time, doctoral-level Research Instructor position. Candidates must hold a Ph.D., MD, or DO in a relevant field of science or medicine.
This non-tenure stream faculty position will support ongoing, year-long research projects in the area of stroke. These projects are conducted under mentorship of Stroke Institute director and other highly trained specialists at the University of Pittsburgh.
Experience requirements:
• Prior research experience in stroke, neurology, or a related biomedical field is required.
• Experience with manuscript preparation and publication in peer-reviewed journals preferred
• Demonstrated experience in clinical and/ or translational research, including study design, data collection, and analysis.
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage research projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
