We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the clinic facilities operating and repairing any problems before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility.

Here's a sneak peek at what you will do:

  • Preventative maintenance to regularly inspect equipment and facilities to avoid breakdowns
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, adjusting, and fixing equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Performing general repairs including replacing worn parts, fixing structural damage (window, door or wall repair), fixing broken or leaking plumbing, replacing fixtures
  • General electrical and HVAC maintenance and repair
  • Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
  • Basic installation of new equipment, systems, furniture
  • Ensure facilities and grounds are maintained by performing general janitorial and groundskeeping duties
  • Work with external contractors for more significant repairs and new facility build outs
  • Maintaining a safe environment by following protocols and recording maintenance activities. Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

What you need to succeed:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, groundskeeping and facility systems, along with experience using diagnostic equipment and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • 1– 2 years of related experience or completion of a related apprenticeship program
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication and customer service abilities
  • Capability toliftupto100lbs, work in tight spaces, walk and stand for long periods, bend/stoop, reach overhead, climb stairs/ladders
  • Current driver’s license and clean driving record to operate company vehicles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strategic, adaptable, and collaborative problem-solver who fosters a positive team environment.
  • Flexibility to travel across different locations in and around Dallas and Forth-Worth area.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese or Rohingya would be an added advantage
